Albert Einstein said …
“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
Does this statement apply to shooting? YES!
Too many players shoot the same way, year after year, and expect to get better. They practice, practice, practice, and become frustrated with poor results … especially after working so hard! It never occurs to them that faulty mechanics may be the problem.
Ask yourself, “Is my shot improving?” If not, why keep using the same technique over and over?
Signs it may be time to make a change …
- The coach screams “NO” just before you shoot
- The opposing team NEVER guards you
- You have NO idea if the ball is going in
Seriously, it’s time to make a change when …
- Your mechanics are inconsistent
- You have no confidence in your stroke
- Shooting isn’t fun
As a shooter, are you getting results? Be honest and answer this question …
“Am I insane when it comes to shooting?”
If so, take action and make a change to One Motion!
With God and a powerful dream, anything is possible!
Right on, Rick.
